But this store in the Castellana district of Madrid, a bit north of the city centre, is the flagship branch of this department store chain. There are at least three main stores in Madrid as well as some smaller stores such as the outlet centre in the middle of town. El Corte Inglés is Spain's and Portugal's only remaining department store chain and is probably the biggest in Europe by revenue.
